So today I went to Williams-Sonoma at the Mall at Green Hills and they invited the Cupcake Collection's owners there to bake and provide us with free samplings of cupcakes. Apart from getting to taste some of the yummy and original cupcake recipes (sweet potato and corn bread), I also got to learn more about how Cupcake Collection originated. It is impressive that the owners (the couple portrayed in picture below) started their business from scratch...only because their daughters who were graduating from high school dreamed about opening a cupcake bakery in 2006. Their determination and passion was just admirable. It inspired me that my passion for cooking could be put into action someday..lol. As some of you may know, my dream job was actually to open a bakery or a small coffee shop (apart from being a doctor)...so maybe I will...some day...some day~
