Can't believe it is a month away from graduation! I created this blog about 4 years ago, aspiring to convey my experience as a medical student to other people as well as to improve my writing skills...However, I guess medical school kept me busy enough that I just totally forgot about this blog and haven't touched it for 4 years!!! Now I am doing my last rotation in the medical ICU, completing my last month as a medical student. Just can't believe how time flies!
Life as a 4th year medical student is just awesome, compared to three previous years~ It's basically a job interview process and after you're done with that...it's called heaven! Now, I am embarking on a new journey to become an eye doctor (aka. ophthalmologist) and will be exploring Boston for a year (can't tell you how excited I am to learn snowboarding!) before heading to Wisconsin for my residency.
Besides school and career advancement, I have also lived and learned about the other aspects of life. I've gone through phases of happiness, sadness, and disappointment over these past 3 years. These experiences helped shape my perspectives and allowed me to grow from a naive girl to a more immuned young woman (not sure if late twenties is still called "young" lol). These ordeals taught me to expect the unexpected and that as time changes, things and people also change. Bhudda's teaching is never proven wrong.
Apart from those rambling, these are the photos I took when I went hiking around the Radnor Lake State Park during different seasons (fall and spring). I guess life is just like seasons--always changing, either ups or downs. Regardless, I'd better keep my optimism up, right? :)
